Colt defence

Anyone familiar with this one piece receiver and forearm. Looks like a really sweet rifle. Any other comments on it would be greatly appreciated as i am considering a purchase of an ar. Thanks

Are you talking about a Colt 6940? If so, yeah, it's a great rifle, if you have to have a monolithic quadrail.

I have one. It's nice, but you are married to the monolithic rail. If I could do it all over again, I would get a Colt 6920 instead and install the free-floated handguard of my own choosing. I don't mind the fixed front sight post on the 6920, but if you can't deal with it, the 6940 has the folding front sight. Other than those two differences, they're pretty much the same rifle.
