AR-15 Pistol legal of carry handle?

Can you put a carry handle on a ar-15 pistol? or does this count as some forgrip/vertical grip>?<!

I am going to beable to finish my AR pistol build early!!!!!!! I thought I was going to have to wait till after new years but It turns out I am getting some more work and will have money by Christmas.

Yes you can. For that matter you can add a angled forward grip, just not a vertical grip. Unless the pistol has a oal of 26" or more, not counting the break..unless its permanently attached. Then the pistol becomes a firearm and the vfg ruling don't apply.
