Missouri residents: I have a question.
I'm thinking of moving. One state I'm thinking of moving to is Missouri. I'm currently in Oklahoma.
Does Missouri have laws requiring me to register, in any fashion, any handguns I bring into the state? thanx.

I am from Missouri and down here even if the law "required" registration almost nobody would comply.
Be very careful if you plan to carry in St. Louis though, there's still a lot of police chiefs who still believe that only the police should be allowed to carry guns. I have had guns confiscated and had to go through the process of getting them returned.

Nope, no registration. Once upon a time we had the old "permit to purchase a concealable weapon," but that has been gone for several years now.
MO has good gun laws... maybe not the absolute best possible, but I'll take ours over most other states- ESPECIALLY those of our neighbor to the east. |
