CZ 82 Grips
I was wondering if any one has ever taken stock CZ 82 grips and modified them (painted them or changed them) in any way. I was going to buy some wooden ones for looks but I had 2 sets of stock grips given to me for free and i have the one that came with mine. I thought i would try something different just for kicks to see how it turned out. I'm just looking for ideas. Thanks.

I haven't done any painting, but I did do some light sanding on the stock grips of my CZ82 (to get the worst dings and gouges out), then bead blasted them. They turned out with a pretty nice even matte finish.
The gun is currently wearing a nice pair of walnut Marschall grips, and I'm out of town the next few days, but I'll try to get a pic our two of them if you're interested. |

If I'd spent a little more time sanding those out before I blasted them, they probably would have come out better. Unfortunately I don't have a 'before' pic of them, but they were pretty awful starting out. Here's what my 82 wears now: ![]() 2012-10-05_19-02-56_292 by 69murray, on Flickr |
