I'm a proud new papa...
hello all,
yesterday I became the proud new owner of a Pre-cerberus, 1983 made Marlin model 1894S. it is in perfect condition and doesn't even look like it's been fired, there's a couple scrapes but nothing overly noticeable and has had the sights replaced with an XS peep system. it's chambered in 44 mag with a 10 shot tube. overall I am very impressed though I don't see much difference in the quality over a remington made rifle, then again 1894s are rare in my neck of the woods so I don't have anything to compare it to. this is my first and probably my last lever action so hopefully my expectations are not too high. hopefully I will have a range review with pics up shortly.
