Any more news regarding the arms treaty?

I'm still learning about the it really, and I can't seem to find the thread I was reading that talked about it.

Someone told me that apparently it's gaining traction again, but I'd rather read up on the topic from a reliable and credible source rather than word of mouth.

The treaty that apparently would force the US to pass a bill that bans firearms if I understand correctly among many other things.

Last I knew there was a lot of opposition since it would violate our constitutional rights. Has there been changes to the treaty to accomodate our own laws and such?

I'm intrigued and would like to learn more if possible.

None lately. The last iteration was scrapped.

As it is, the treaty had nothing to do with domestic firearms ownership. It had to do with regulating international trade.

Furthermore, there's a thread already discussing this at length.
