info request: tactical training in VA
My buddy's fiance wants to get him a surprise 2-day tactical carbine course for his birthday. Yeah, she's a pretty cool gal for sure.
I'm trying to get some suggestions for the better training courses where he'd be able to do a little classroom time but also do a ton of outdoor training that involves firing his AR. Anyone have any suggestions on some better courses/instructors in VA/Northern VA or up to a 2 hour's drive? Thanks |

I've taken 2 pistol courses from FPF Training (Culpeper, VA) and highly recommend John Murphy as an instructor. He offers a rifle course that may meet your criteria: http://www.fpftraining.com/mrc.html
I didn't take it but know people that have, and they nothing but praise for it. He uses a different range for it but it's still within a couple of hours' drive from DC. |
