Redhawk recoil shield
I was just curious if Ruger ever made a Redhawk with the round recoil shield (non scalloped)?

I`ve owned 3 & all have been the same scalloped recoil shield , my first was an early 1 serial # was 500-001 summtin.
I like the classic look & feel of the Redhawk ,not to say I don`t like a Super but it`s a massive revolver !! As I`ve ripened (aged) & shoulder/ authur problems are slowly but surely progressing I enjoy the 357s more & more.
