I thought about the list, and although I like several, actually all of the Brands listed, I had to chose Ruger. I love the Ruger M77MK 2 and the Hawkeye. Also the Revolvers and Pistols. Rugers are just built tougher than most of the other brands in my opinion. Built for the Field.

Wouldnt take my vote, said I had already voted. I did not vote, havent been in here since July 24, and the poll started the 29th.... So I'll say "Other" and include S&W (revolver), Colt (1911) and Mauser (rifle). Like a few Brownings too.

Bolt action by Remington.
Rugers make good Bolt guns as do Savage and Winchester.

Ruger and Savage are my favorite rifle makers. S&W, Springfield and Walther are my favorite handguns. I'm hard pressed to pick a definite favorite maker though. Too many fine guns out there to have a favorite.

Definitely has to be CZ for me... Nothing they make that I have handled is anything but underpriced, very high quality!
