I have been wanting to carry my Sig 226, but I haven't found the right holster yet. Any suggestions?

Galco "King Tuk" (iwb) or Blackhawk "Sportster" w/Serpa security feature (owb/paddle).

After carrying my 642 for a year I decided on trying something bigger. I now carry a Beretta Px4 (the compact, middle-size one) and it doesn't feel any different than the 642 did. Maybe not a full-size but 15+1 capacity in a gun I can shoot much better makes me feel better. The 642 will be my second choice from now on. And all those new smaller subcompact thin 9mm's have fallen off my gun wish-list. Luckily I can dress around my gun and not have to fit a gun into a job-mandated wardrobe.

What helps is using a simple, Barsony (in this case) IWB nylon holster. It adds no extra size to the gun and with a good belt holds the gun tight against my side. Maybe not the perfect choice in some respects but it enables me to carry a gun much bigger than I had thought I could.

Lately I've been concealing my Kahr P45 6+1 shot .45ACP in a Mitch Rosen holster.
More of a mid-sized pistol, it carries easily and feels like a part of my hand.

I carry a S&W 4043 in a FIST ultra thin kydex holster. The thinness of the kydex really makes the pistol feel small than it is.

I regularly carry my Sig P226 and don't find it a chore at all with a dark colored polo shirt in the summer or any normal clothes in the winter. I've also been experimenting with a full size USP 45 and it doesn't seem as bad as I thought it would be but the P226 conceals easier.

For the P226 if you're going IWB it's impossible to beat the legendary (for a reason) VM2 from Milt Sparks.

For OWB carry the most comfortable holster I've tried is this one: http://haugenhandgunleather.com/hols...Carry-12p8.htm

I've been really impressed with Haugen leather both their holsters and belts.

Having said all that, if I'm wearing a white polo or t-shirt in the summer, I have to confess, it's a Kahr CW9 in a Sparks VM2.

Been carrying my CZ75b more, as of lately. Carry a CZ82 from time to time.

CZ 97b here. It's the same size as my 75bd, but heavier.

I just started carrying the Sig 1911 Nightmare in a Kramer Horsehide IWB#3.

http://www.kramerleather.com/product...&categoryID=23

As far as the tolerance level... I imagine it's a lot like working. In this day and age a 6 day workweek sounds tortuous. After a two week vacation, going back Monday sounds about the same. I think it's more about familiarity than tolerance.

I've carried an M&P .40 fullsize and a S&W 4506-1 in the past, both OWB.
