Beretta Bobcat 22 nickle value?
local gun shop has one for $200 new ones $280ish and I never seen a nickle one. Riflling is very sharp, shot very little.
How does warrenty transfer on these little ones? Is $200 for it a good deal? it looks pretty good shape, no rust, one small bluff on the top, and a idiot mark on the front barrel, but it matches the curves so could say factory error. All with I say less than 1000 rounds fired, this gun looked like a safe queen. I am just concerned about a warrenty.

If you're talking about a Beretta 21a Bobcat in .22LR, I don't think there is any special warranty. I bought one new and there wasn't one. $200 a nice price if it is indeed in good shape. New ones are in the mid-$300 range.

From my understanding (and a little personal experience) Beretta makes great products but does not have good CS when it comes to issues. If it used I would say purchase it with the understanding that you will not be able to get Beretta to fix anything.

I had the gun you are looking for. I used it with shotshells to kill snakes. Sights are hard to make use of being tiny.
If you keep it clean and oiled It should give no problems. |

Is that the one that Beretta was having frame problems with? I seem to remember hearing about a Beretta mousegun having problems where the frame would crack...

The frame cracking issue was with the blued Tomcat (.32 ACP) model.

Yes, that makes more sense the frame cracking with a .32 as oposed to a .22lr.

will frame crack on nickle one? I am scared of that, I know the 32 tomcats had a lot of problems. Maybe I should just get a new one.

Great deal assuming it doesn't have any feeding or jamming issues. Not something you can really test in the shop.
Bought mine for 340 new, and absolutely love it. Great little gun. 200 is a steal. |

First of all, $200 is a pretty fair deal. Its probably worth $250 or so. Just look over the gun / know what to look for, and you should be fine. Since such small guns are hard to shoot well, and not very fun, its a safe bet that the gun has few rounds through it. However, look it over to make sure. Also, whether or not the gun is nickel plated, it is the same underneath. The plating vs bluing has no effect on the strength of the gun. However, when talking SS vs blued/nickel, the metals are different compositions.
