870

Hey guys, i just got a used Remington 870 express 20 gauge magnum. i know it is older than the new Express line because it has a hardwood stock, and because it is a 20 gauge and it say Magnum on the side. It shoots 2 34" and 3" shells which is the same as the new 870, but the new 870 dosent say Magnum on the side. Are these made batter than the new express line with the lamite stocks?

The quality control has gone downhill.

The Express was introduced in 1987. I think they had the hardwood stock option up into the 2000s.
