I have found the Lyman 49th to be rather limited. It just doesn't have as much useful data, as they used to.
I keep hearing this. I do not have the #49 edition, only 46-47-48, so perhaps they are correct about the new one. The older ones would be worth getting if you see one, just for the articles. #46 should prolly be illegal because it has so much good info in it, (sic).

I use Speer the most, as I like their bullets. I am pleasantly surprised by how often they use precisely the firearm I am for their velocity testing.

I have a Lyman 49th edition but I almost exclusively use the official online sources.
