6.8mm SPC Loads??

I have been trying to work up a good load for my 6.8 in a 26in encore barrel. I have tried several 130gr loads with the hornady sst and not to good. Does anyone have any load data for the 120gr sst's?? Or has anyone tried the 110gr vmax on deer? Or even any nosler bullets?? My new nosler book doesnt even list the 6.8........Thanks in advance, Logan.

AA2200 is producing the best results, but I've used Re10x and H322 with 100-110gr bullets successfully. H4198 and Re7 are better for the 85-95gr bullets.

Best bullet I've used on deer has been the Nosler Accubond, either 100 or 110gr works great. The Barnes 95gr TTSX is good for deer and excellent for hogs. Vmax construction is too light for deer.

thanks for that......thats the exact kind of table I was trying to find. I thought the 110's would be to light also but read some reviews on midways site that were singing prasies of the 110's on deer. I personally like heavy for cal. loads.

In 6.8 spc, heavy for caliber is the wrong way to go. 110 is not too light, the construction of the Vmax is too fragile.

I have an older 6.8. My load is 28 gr. of H322 with 110 gr ProHunters. Very accurate. I don't hunt deer anymore bot I'm sure they would work perfectly. This is a very accurate load and if I recall correctly, is right at 2550 fps from my 16 inch barrel.
