Mossberg Maverick Question?
I just bought a Mossberg Maverick 12 gauge. My question is, Is the furniture the same as a Mossberg 500? Im planning on putting a 18" barrel and pistol grip on it. Thanks

Two differences in Mavericks:
1) Unless it's been reengineered recently, the Maverick's foreend is integral with the action bars...this is a different arrangement than the 500's more traditional setup. 2) The other obvious difference is the safety & it's location. Everything else is the same. Buttstocks, barrels, etc. It's built in the same plant, the quality is the same, etc. |
