If someone tells you that you need an exercise bike..say OK

The electronics gave it up.

After looking around the internet and forums, I decided I needed as shooting bench. After stripping the recumbent bike down this is what I came up with. Had to do a little whittling on the front post. It is very stable.

Here it is with the fold out arm for rifle shooting.

Here it is with the rifle

Any comments or suggestions welcomed.

Great idea! I'll be looking at our local transfer station for a suitable exercise now.

I would have left the pedals on it, so I could practice my vigilante bike-riding 3-gun 15-mile circuit.

Put some pedals and three wheels on that and it would give new meaning to the term, "Drive by Shooting!"

I like it. You could have used the pedals to run the target out on a clothesline or something.
