Was looking at both for Conceal Carry Protection class. Wondering if anyone has taken a course at either one?

Ask again end of next week. I just signed up for Sigarms.
I've previously taken a defensive carbine class at S&W. Wasn't that impressed. Too much square range work. Little work with reactive targets. Not enough movement. Too many "war stories." Not enough rounds downrange. M1911 |

So M1911, how was the course?

Just got back last night from SigArms Concealed Carry course (not the advanced concealed carry -- only stayed for 3 days, not 5). If I get a chance tonight, I'll post more details. In summary, though, two thumbs up.
I've been to LFI-1, LFI-2, and S&W defensive carbine. LFI-1 is a must from the legal standpoint. But I think the SigArms Concealed Carry class was more useful to me than LFI-2. SigArms Academy has excellent instructors and an oustanding facility. M1911 |
