CZ 82 slide problem
I just bought a CZ 82, the slide locks back with each shot and you have to thumb the release to load another round. Anyone have an idea? Thanks , wiggler

I have one..never had that issue. Try the lowest priced possible fix. Clean it very well. Second, if that fails. Buy a new magazine.

The tiny L shaped spring, that holds down the slide release to keep it from "jumping" up during each round, has probably fallen out. This is a common flaw in the CZ82. Do a search for a tutoral on replacing it. Good luck.
See part #42, (not the same as a CZ83 spring) http://myweb.cableone.net/leolani/cz...sassembly.html Last edited by PSP; May 4, 2012 at 11:37 AM. |

Single load it and remove the magazine and shoot it. If it locks open without a mag, see the advice on the spring above. If it only does it with mags installed, then look to those as the problem.
