Old good Mossy

I bought one when I got back from RVN. Good for offhand shooting as it's a full size rifle, and fits grownups. You will need that old scope, or you will have to go with something with extended eye relief for glass. Mossberg's of that era are known for fine accuracy at an affordable price. If it' in good shape,it's a lot of rifle for the money.

A late friend had one since the 1970's, and just loved it.

We both used to shoot it, both on the range & hunting - and it showed us how to shoot accurately.

I didn't particularly care for the plastic, finger-grooved tang on the face of the stock's pistol grip, but he absolutely loved the feature.
