Need help finding a bolt assembly for a Hoban Model 45 .22
Does anyone know where I might find a bolt assembly for a Hoban Model 45 .22 caliber rifle? The one i have is missing the bolt handle, but I would like to find the complete bolt if possible. I have tried Jack First, Gun Parts Corp, and the usual Google search without any luck.

There was a Hoban bolt for sale on Gunbroker last week. It was pricey, think he was asking $95 !! :barf: I can't bring up GB at the moment but at that price I doubt it sold.

Thanks Wasper.
Tried looking for it on Gun Broker but only see two overpriced complete guns. If you get a chance, could you see if it is still there? I might have missed it. Never mind. I searched completed auctions and see that the same guy sold one for $69 in January and $95 last week. Maybe next week he will have one for $125! Geez...who buys this junk? All I really need is a handle to replace a broken one. Think I will have one made. Last edited by Oregon.gun.nut; March 5, 2011 at 02:13 AM. |

Hoban Bolt
I had my Hoban bolt, but it would not work as the firing pin was worn I guess. I had a local machine shop make a new inner part of the bolt with a new firing pin. He also made a back plate that screws into the bolt to hold the spring in and threaded the pull knob so now the bolt is completely servicable and working. If you are interested please post and I can give you the company name.
