FOXPRO Question
My darling, lovely, awesome wife got me a Foxpro Fury for Christmas. I am very proud of this thing, but have a question about it not addressed in the instructions.
IS this thing waterproof, water resistant or neither? I was scared to go try it out yesterday as it was raining here. Does anyone have any experience with this? Happy Holidays! |

sort of and not really
I emailed Foxpro directly about this. i own a FX5 and a Scorpion. They said it is "weather resistant". I have used mine in the rain and left it outside a tent over night where there was heavy morning dew. In the end, it worked and didnt stop working. I wouldnt pour water down the speakers or inside the mechanisms, nor would i use it in a heavy downpour.
good luck.

Thanks for the imput, kinda what I figured. I will have a real hard time taking this thing out in the rain considering the cost.

I wrap my foxpro in plastic wrap. You cover the body of the call and the speakers arent affected.
