Sorry to revive such an old thread. Question:

Is night hunting with a suppressor only legal in certain parts of Texas, with regards to this hog issue? If so, where?

I live in AZ. Could I just fly in and hunt? No out-of-state hunting license required?

I have some vacation time coming up and would LOVE to come down and hunt some! I have a AAC M4-2000 and I have 4 ARs that will accept this suppressor.

I will need to work on getting a night optic. I have a PVS-7, but i don't think it will be useful unless i shoot with a red dot scope.

Good scope and a red lens spotlight will do you, I don't know about the suppressor rules......

A few strategically placed Claymore mines might help.

SFAIK, no full-auto or suppressor, regardless of non-game aspect of the critter. A hunting license is needed, whether hunting game or non-game critters.

I live near San Antonio. The Farmers bitch about hogs tearing up their property but then want you to pay $200 to shoot one. It's not hard to bait or call hogs so yeah, you can hunt'm in the daytime. Luckily I now have a couple of friends who'll let me fill my freezer.
