Fellow Mini 14 Owners, I Need Your Advice
I know that Ruger factory magazines are the most reliable for the Mini, but so far, the only factory mags I've found come in the blued finish. I really prefer stainless steel mags, especially since my Mini is stainless. Now, I've found that one aftermarket mag that works fine in one Mini often won't even fit in another. So, my question: In your experience, what company makes the most reliable, most likely to fit, aftermarket stainless magazines for these rifles? Thanks as always for any and all help.

Mags
Try the guys over here at this forum:
http://www.perfectunion.com/vb/ruger...ine-links.html Problem is, they mention many many different manufacturers and sources, but little in the way of review. Maybe you could get more replies there, though. |

Dopar66: Just when I thought nobody was going to post on this one! I will look into your suggestion. Thanks much. Moderators, feel free to close this one if you like; I have the answer I need, and it doesn't look like any more are forthcoming.

While I don't have any SS mags for your gun I can get Promag steel mags for you. Check out my website:

ProMag 20's are excellent Mini 14 mags; I reckon you could Duracoat them to get the finish you wanted.
