When did you buy yours?
I have to state here and now, for the record, that GunVault customer service has improved like night and day. I am ecstatic and will report back with my results!

Why is everyone using Gunvaults if they suck? I have a Sentry Safe with a digital combination, its still on the original batteries, I've never had a problem. And I think they are a more reliable brand name.

Is the problem that you want the hand print button things instead of just numbers?

Because they are cheap, and people automatically assume that they are decent quality (even though they are cheap).

I wouldn't trust any sort of electronics for a self defense weapon. They simply aren't reliable enough to trust your life to.
