Hunting Kamchatka

Anyone hunted it? What was your experience? Looks like I will be in Japan for a couple years, and I thought I would pretty much write off hunting. However Kamchatka, while not exactly close, is kinda in this neck of the woods. Lots of game, apparently. Fishing, too, but I can do that here. By the way, I'm told Japanese for bear is kuma.
