Help needed with creased cases
I loaded up some copper coated 158gr 38 specials last night. Most were fine but a few buckled and creased the cases when seated - see photographs below. I put a generous 'bell' on each case. What could have caused this and are they safe to shoot?

Over crimp. Back off on your crimp. I load some pretty hot 357s and don’t put that much on them.
If you need a heavy crimp you need to size your cases all to the same length. Longer cases will crimp harder and deeper than short cases. |

Way to much crimp, at the most you should crimp just enough to be able to see the crimp. I would shoot them in my 357 mag. though.

+1 on too much crimp. The good news is, they'll straighten out when you shoot em.
