Remington 870 Walnut Riot Stock/forend Source

I'm looking for a plain walnut stock with a buttplate or factory rubber recoil pad (no checkering) and the old ribbed style forend. I'm ok with refinishing the wood. Does anyone have a recommendation for who might carry a set?

You have options:

1. Just contact Remington and buy a new walnut Police stock and hand guard.

2. Gun Parts Corp sell wood:

Also, you see Police wood in both the older hardwood and the newer walnut on Ebay and the gun auction sites.

Let me do some checking, I may have what you are looking for.
These were take offs from police riot guns so the wood will need refinished.

Sorry for my slow response. Bob, did you ever find anything?

Numrichs only has the ribbed forend, so at the least, I'd still need a non-checkered walnut stock.

Ok, I did place and order for the ribbed forend from Numrichs, so I'm now just in need of a factory walnut stock without checkering. Ideas where to find would be greatly appreciated!

I'll keep checking Gunbroker and eBay - something will eventually turn up.
