taurus pt 740 slim.... complete slide strip??

i have a taurus pt 740 slim cleaned all the packing grease out of the slide but didnt clean the fireing pin channel/striker channel out.since this is a carry weapon for me this is pretty important in my eyes.thought it would come apart just like a glock. took the back slide plate off but couldnt get the striker out, didn't want to just pull on it real hard dont know if there is a certain order i must do things or what? anyone have any experiance with this pistol??
