Anyone familiar with - Tisas (by ATI - FS9) TISG4023 9mm

I especially like 5+" barrels this one is 5.11". Does anyone have any experience with these. It's for the range. No carry in IL.

i don't have experience with that gun in particular, but i do have the C45. and i love that gun. really accurate, a pleasure to shoot. doesn't seem to like HP ammo too much, eats ball up though. had some SWC reloads that i had to use the max OAL. once i figured that out, they ran fine. it's a little big, nothing i would carry, but it's still a great gun.

Well I picked one up from The Gun Source from there buy a gun at cost sale.
Not bad $337 + $20 to ship ... Hard Chrome version. I'm impressed with the fit, field stripped and cleaned it and all the internals look clean and free of burs. Havent been to the range yet nut overall lit looks good. Mags are a bit expensive at $40 ea for 10 rd or 20 rd. I dont know if there are any others that fit???? Pics and range Report to come....

congrats man. i have a feeling that you'll like it. i actually found another C45 on gunbroker, this time in hard chrome and with a ported barrel/slide for $295 + shipping and transfer. and i couldn't pass it up. the UPS man has it right now, so it should be here any day now. when you get a chance to take out your new toy, i'll be interested to know how she runs. so let me know. mine will look like this one. http://dealer.americantactical.us/products?product=1037

yeah, that is a sharp looking gun. i like it. i'm really interested to know how she shoots. if it's anything like the C45, i'm putting it on my short list. the grip shape looks really comfortable.

GreySmoke,
That is a fine looking pistol. Waiting to read your range report to see if it shoots as good as it looks.

I got the FS9 to the range. She is a pretty good shooter. With the barrel compensator there almost no barrel flip and recoil is minimal. The grips are not as comfortable as I'd like and after-market is non existent but they are not terrible. The trigger is a bit difficult in DA - LONG . A bit heavy also. SA has a bit of creep but is light once it breaks. Pic is at 10 YRDS outdoors offhand. I actually walked it up from low left to center with the 1 mag on the 5.5" target shown. Using 145gr Silver Bear JHP Subsonic 750fps ammo.
No failures in 100 total rds shot. Not a bad gun for the Money....
