I'm looking for a high riding western holster for a Colt
4.5" barrel length. I've seen these around, sometimes referred to as the Duke's type, since he used that one. |

Howdy,
There are several places to get Duke style holsters, but my favorite is San Pedro Saddlery. Bellicose Bill |

Often running specials on their Duke rigs is: http://www.epsaddlery.com
One of our cowboys, Capt. Apache has an El Paso Saddlery "Duke" rig and it is N-I-C-E.

Hey Gus, usually what I do is ask them to make it to fit the frame of a Ruger Vaquero. They are just a tad bigger. A Colt will slide farther down into the holster and not hurt it. While, if, if.... you should ever change guns, a Vaquero will fit in quite nicely instead of being forced in. Just my 2 cents on how I order my gun leather. Never know when you might decide to shoot something different and the gun leather will fit either.
