Value of a Jason brand scope ?

I'm trying to put a value on a rifle I intend to sell. I'm including the scope which is mounted to it ( and was when I bought it ). I haven't been able to get any information on the scope though. It seems to be out of production. All I could discover was that Jason optics was absorbed by Bushnell at some point.

The scope in question is a 4x32 Jason brand Model# 860x
Says Made in Japan

I have no idea whether this is a cheapy thing, or a decent scope that should add some value to the gun.

Any ideas ?

At one time Jason was K-Mart's in house brand for scopes and binoculars. As far as who made them for the chain, who knows, maybe tasco. As far as prices they were pretty much entry level optics.

Ah, ok thanks a lot. I wasn't familiar with the brand name at all. I just didn't want to be throwing it in as a "free" extra and find out later I screwed myself on it.
