Franchi O/U ALCIONE ?
I have a friend who wants to sell me a Franchi O/U ALCIONE, dont know if its the SP or SX right now but will know more tomorrow. He wants $1k and said that his Dad won it and sold it to him for $1k and just wants his money back as he needs it right now. I am hoping that he brings it in tomorrow for me to see and I am hoping that it is the SP as it would be a GREAT deal. What do you fine folks think? To be honest I know nothing about a Franchi or what they are worth but have looked them up in the gun blue book.

Search for Alcione on Gunbroker. $1000.00 seems about right.

The "real world" value is whatever the market will pay. Look at closed auctions on the various sites to see what they have been going for. Different regions will hold differing values for different guns

Alcione
I've had an alcione field for about 4 years. I shoot sporting clays and hunt ducks with it. I really like it. I had one problem. The left panel on the stock cracked, problably because the stock bolt was loose, I repaired the stock with some ring groove nails and expoxy. No other problems. I'd buy this gun again!
