Does any one know a good acurate .22 handgun 250$ or under?

Iv searched around but the dont seem acurate.

Cabelas had a special last week on the S&W 22A for $199. But you said you wanted a good accurate 22lr. For a few $ more try to find a nice used Ruger MkII or Browning Buckmark.

I put 2000 rounds threw a .22a with a $30 red dot and it was very accurate as well as reliable. Im not the best shot, But 2" groups at 50' with 10 rounds was nothing hard to do.
I liked the Bull barrel ones the best. You may be able to find a used Ruger MK3 for $250
You can get a Walther P22 for about $259, But i doubt it would have the accuracy unless you got the 5" version which cost more.
The Berretta Neos is in your price range and a very accurate gun and well liked.

Look for a used Ruger I-II-III or a Buckmark. I prefer the Rugers.

Ruger 22/45, 4" barrel. I've seen it as cheap as $199 NIB.

I love my Beretta Neos. I have 3 of them. They have been trouble free and shoot cheep rounds, match rounds, high velocity rounds with equal reliability. I've only run into one round that wasn't 100% reliable, but more than a dozen that were 100%. They come with 3 different barrel length options. I have the 2 longer ones. I can hit a quarter I put on a spinner target every time at 40 yards, even with cheap brick ammo.

I use them mostly for pinking but they work well for a little target shooting and occasional varmint elimination too.
Yes, you can spend a lot more but it's hard to get more fun for the money.

Look at the Browning Buckmarks. They have a large selection to choose from. I enjoy my Contour Lite with a 7.25" barrel. With a Weaver Classic Pistol scope mounted it makes a nice little hunting pistol. Mine have had really nice triggers and great accuracy right out of the box. Another plus is they are easier to take down for cleaning than the Rugers. JMHO

Ruger:
Lots of aftermarket parts.
No tools required to field strip.
Grip does not hold parts together.
Lifetime warrenty
Two Magazines
Lots of different configurations

Buckmark:
Better trigger from factory
Need tools to field strip
Grip holds parts.(if grip screws loose pistol may have operation issues)
One Magazine
Limited models

Both are good and will last forever, just have to get what you like since inexpensive to shoot you will find yourself shooting this gun more than your others.

I've seen Browning Buckmarks advertised with Academy for $259. Alot of talk on TFL about their accuracy, they are fun to shoot and they will eat anything you feed them.

You can find a base model Ruger Mark II or III for that price pretty easily. You *might* be able to find a base model Buck Mark, but they'll be a fair bit rarer. Both of these are EXCELLENT choices though, and will more than meet your needs.

Can also try a SW 22A or Beretta NEOS, although the quality doesn't appear to be as high (I can definitely say it's not for the 22A, but I've only fondled, not shot a NEOS, so hesitate to say - they seem kinda nice).

Short of that, maybe an H&R revolver?

You can get the 22/45 for under that price. I have the 4" model and it has been a great pistol. Accurate, reliable and cheap to feed.

Find a used Ruger, or Browning Buckmark. Or save up a little more $ and buy a new one.
The NEOS is an option, but I can't get past the "Star Wars" look.
You can also read a lot here about Walther P22's and others, but if this is your first handgun, stay with the reliable Ruger or Browning.
