I have a single-barrel shotgun marked 'Eastern Arms Company'. I need the latching mechanism for the forearm. I need to know who built the @#$%^^% thing and what model it would be for that manufacturer. I've already reblued it. It's estimated by my parents to be around 70-80 years old. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

George, Eastern Arms Company was a trade name used by Sears, Roebuck & Company. Your shotgun was actually made by Meriden Firearms Company, a division of Sears & Roebuck, located in Meriden, CT from 1900-1915. You might try contacting Gun Parts Corporation for replacement parts. Hope this helps!
