Remington 870 stock interchangability

Will a Remington 870 12 ga. stock fit a Remington 870 20 ga?Info will be greatly appreciated.The reason I ask is that I want to put a folder on a 20 ga. and the ad says that it will fit a 12 ga. but doesn't mention anything about a 20 ga.

To say "fit" the 870 12 ga will not fit, "exactly" on a 20ga. If you are talking about composite stock, no. Where is a difference in the size of the receivers and the 12ga is larger.
