How to zero an AR in 22LR (M&P15-22)

I need a little advice here. I've read TONS of different methods for zeroing AR's and M4's in .223/5.56 but I can't find anything on zeroing for the stock A2 sight on my M&P 15-22. My M&P15 MOE in .223 is zeroed at 50/200 yards using the Santose (RIBZ) method. I'm heading to the range with the M&P15-22 tomorrow to get it zeroed and I've yet to find any sort of guide like the Santose system. Does anyone even use the elevation settings on the rear site after the front is zeroed for a .22LR AR?

If you have the luxury of shooting the 15-22 at an outdoor range at 50 yards you may discover that it is already zeroed it or close to it. If you’ve reviewed the owner manual then you already know that the A2 front sight is not mentioned in the sight adjustment section. Instead, it directs the owner to adjust elevation and windage with the rear sight. If you’re shooting the rifle at a shorter distance on an indoor range you may find that you can’t adequately zero the rifle with the OE sights. I personally use a red dot when shooting inside. Enjoy your 15-22.
