Does anyone have any information on the US Army Hand to Hand Combat Instructor's Course &/or the Close Quarters Combat Instructor's Course? I'm scheduled to take Insights USD class in Austin, TX next month and I've heard that their program is based on these military courses. |

P:
I have been told by quite a few army officers that most of the army is not taught H2H combat, its not politically correct. ------------------ God truly fights on the side with the best artillery |

I should of been more exxplicit, I guess. I've been in the Army since '89 and I've seen and even had training in the "Combatives" program which is strongly Filipino in flavor, but I've never seen anything on the instrucor courses I mentioned. I gather that they are programs coming out of the JFK Special Warfare Center for the SOCOM guys, but I'm not really sure.
Thanks. |
