I've never really been excited, it's always been just another day with possibly more work involved.

Air matresses are God's gift to older hunters. I try to be on mine by 9-10 pm after a few beers by the campfire.

I remember more reckless days, running airboats all hungover, sleeping on rocks. Liberal doses of Wild Turkey, Jack Black and Yukon Jack can soften the rocks for a young guy. Not so much when you get older.
