Colt navy revolver info

I have a friend who has a colt navy revolver from the Civil War era. Its a .36 caliber, matching numbers. Where could I go to get more info on this gun?

Post in the black powder section. You can look at original examples on gunbroker and get a general idea of the value of the Colt revolvers.
