Acme 220a-12

Hey, I have a friend that recently bought a side by side double barrel shotgun, it seems to be an old acme firearms, with the closest thing to a model number being 220A-12. A quick google search didnt bring much up. I have little to no knowledge about shotguns, but he asked me to look into it for him. Does anyone know where I could come up with a product list for Acme? I have never heard of them, and assume they are out of business. I dont have a picture of it, but can get one if need be. Is there any other information that might help identify the firearm?

Didn't Acme make shotguns that Wile E. Coyote used in pursuit of Roadrunner?

Sorry, that was not helpful in the least. I just couldn't stop myself.
