Flobert Alfa 640CC
Hello guys,
i am about to buy this gun, i dont need any advico or somthing, i just want to ask if i can use a 6mm flobert gun for self defense. I dont want to buy this expensive, and sometimes ****ty (like Bruni) 9mm self defense gas-guns. Can i actually defend myself with a flobert 6mm revolver? does it any damage thru colthes and flesh? Please answer. Thank you very much. P.S.: please excuse my mistakes, i cant write very goood in eglish :barf: |

Looks like a crossman air pistol to me. 6mm comes out to .23 caliber. I'm finding a lot of reference of 6mm flobert being about equal to .22 short in power. Considering the power spectrum of rimfire cartridges goes from .22 short to .22 long to .22 long rifle... and I'd be loathe to use even something as small as .22 long rifle to defend myself... My personal conclusion is that the 6mm flobert you mentioned is insufficient to the task of self defense. Save your money, is my advice. ETA: Pic of 6mm flobert cartridge: |

6mm Flobert is referred to as a "BB" (bulleted breech,) or "CB" (conical breech) cap. They are both much lower powered than a .22 short.
While I doubt anyone would want to be shot with one, I wouldn't want to use it for defense. |

I would rather have a can of good, stream-type pepper spray.
