Concealed carry permits - demographics

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for links to good sources about the demographic characteristics of concealed carry permit holders. If you know one for your state (or a national one!) please post a link here.

Thanks.

I believe Texas has compiled such. Don't have time to look now but I seem to recall a rate of black issuance about half the black population rate. Which sounds bad until you compare it to what happens in California, where you can track how permits are basically non-existent in the areas of the state where blacks live (on a county detail basis).

I have a newspaper article from...Fresno County CA I think, where the paper tracked Latino CCW issuance and found a 2% Latino issuance rate in a 45% Hispanic county.

Then there's Sacramento...relatively high rate of issuance to Greeks. Former sheriff was name of "Blanas", you guessed it, Greek...

PA only lists the number issued and revoked per county at the PA State Police website. Any further info is confidential by law.

Michigan pretty much just breaks it down by county;
