Can anyone tell me anything about this 223 rem headstamped case.

Yep, Fiocchi brass and generally very good brass, at that.

Is it crimped or just tight primer pocket, and does it have to be loaded like lake city brass.

beware the brass for auto pistols - I've never had any luck w/it.

I've had no problems with the G.F.L. headstamp, and no problems with Fiocchi stamped brass.

As with everything... it usually depends upon the weapon it was last fired in. (Or the degree of care the previous owner showed the brass, if they reloaded it.)

Last year, I had some problems with Speer brass. A few measurements later, I realised it was bubba'd-up. The brass I had, had been blown out and trimmed to 9x18 Makarov.
