To dispose of an illegal barrel simply toss it in the Inter-Coastal-waterway from a high bridge wrapped in the same rag you wiped your prints off with... Not that I know I just heard it from a friend of a friend of an ex-sister-in-law of a cousins friend...

it's easier to just take the barrel off, give it a few good swings with the sledge hammer and dispose in trash. buy an 18" barrel for that shotgun and be legal.

Bottom line, if you want a sub-18" barrel, do it the legal way and pay the $200 tax. If you're ever in court over the issue, the fact that you went through the background checks, government registration, and got a signoff from your local CLEO is a good defense that you're not the deranged lunatic the late thug's family makes you out to be.
