Mail Order Suppliers

Greetings,

I'm getting back into reloading after a multi-year hiatus. Any good suggestions for mail order suppliers of powders, primers and other reloading supplies in the Southeast would be greatly appreciated. I've been looking at Midsouth Shooters, but didn't know if there were any better alternatives.

Without saying "better",I have gotten excallent service from Natchez and Graf's

A couple of little stories about Natchez.Once,I had an electronic caller on backorder and I was laid off from my job.I called to cancel my order and told the gentleman why.He was more concerned about me losing my job than losing the sale.
Another time,I called them to order a Leupold scope.I just ordered it,without asking the price. He had some discount I didn't know about, and saved me $50.

Grafs has also treated me very well.

For myself, I feel that I do better buying primers and powder locally, if you have a gun shop or vendor close by that handles that stuff. I have to order my lead, and have couple casters who do a great job with lead.
That said, if you order a large amount of primers/powders, then the Hazmat fee doesn't kill you, but on small order like 1000 primers forget it, go local if possible.
Best regards,
SN

Not a lot of reloading suppliers in my area. A few gun shops have a shelf or two, but that's about it. There's a place about 45 miles away that has more stuff and one around 90 miles away that carries everything but is out of stock on most stuff now. But between gas, sales tax and higher prices/availabiltiy of lower cost options, I think I can come out better ordering if I can get up a big enough order.

When I go to the ocean for surf fishing, gull and terns gather over head and do their business on you! So I try very hard to leave no tern unstoned.

The trouble with having this as a stickey is that companies on the list are constantly either changing web addresses, going out of business, or just starting up. I'm afraid that in another 6 months it will change drasitcally. It needs to be updated regularly.

Jtravis, I assume the place about 90 miles away is sportsmans warehouse in cola? If not, you can check them out. They have a good selection but last time I was there they were out of a lot of stuff. Given the hazmat charges I tend to buy primers / powder locally. Traders Gun shop over in Taylors has a small selection, and Gradys here in Anderson has a growing but still small selection of reloading stuff. They seem to have most powders, and the prices aren't terrible considering shipping & hazmat.

Good luck!
