First Deer.
Ok, it might not look like much, but at age 42 this is the first deer I've ever taken. I've been a bird and small game hunter for years, but I finally took up deer hunting. Shot her at about 10:30am last Sunday on my in-laws farm in cantral NY. I hit her with a 130gr .270 Winchester from about 50yds and she dropped like a sack of potatoes. Going out tomorrow to try and fill my buck tag.
