11-87 trigger adjustment
Is it fairly simple to adjust the pull weight of a factory trigger on a 2007 Sportsman slug gun, or would it be better to take it to a gunsmith?

Gunsmithing is definitely required. The 11-87 does not have an adjustable trigger.

Curious. Why would you want an adjustable trigger on a shotgun?

It is a slug gun and the factory trigger is set way too high.

I'd want an adjustable trigger on a shotgun for the same reason that I might want an adjustable trigger on a rifle.
