Jeff Cooper DVD Series

While I am no fan of the Modern technique for ALL situations, I must admit that I was very impressed with this Paladin Press re issued series.
Cooper is a very good instructor and reminds me of some of my old school mentors.
While he does go into actual techniques--and covers them very well--it was the other topics which really impressed me.
The handgun history was great, as well as his lectures of ammo and stopping power.
But, IMHO, what really made this series was his lecture on mindset and mental attitude, which was one of the finest presentations on this subject that I have ever seen.
This DVD series is a winner.

I liked Jeff Cooper. I just might have to order that.

I am the weapon; my gun is a tool. It's regrettable that with some people those descriptors are reversed.

I bought a set of them.

How the British Regulars fired and fled,
How the farmers gave them ball for ball,
From behind each fence and farmyard wall,
Chasing the redcoats down the lane,
Then crossing the fields to emerge again
Under the trees at the turn of the road,
And only pausing to fire and load.

I got a kick out of seeing a young Louis Awerbuck.
