Any hunters in the Adirondacks, Keene or Keene Valley or Lake Placid Area?

I'm a member of a hunting club near Stillwater Resevoir in the Adirondacks. When I was a teenager I hunted their as a guest. Joined the Army, a while later a opening at the club became available, I took it and became a paying member, and Uncle Sam as kept me so busy since I haven't had a chance to go back even though I pay my dues every year. Next year though will be different, I'll be their for early bear and muzzleloader hopefully.
Want to learn how to properly shoot a rifle, or do you THINK you already know how? Find out at a Appleseed shoot!

Been there, I have a friend that owns 13 acres in the middle of state land back in towards Atwell. I haven't hunted there in a few years because I'm still teaching my springoff how to crawl through the woods. He wants to go hunting for a bruin someday and I might have to call my old bud. There are so many places to hunt in the mountains that I'd have to spend the entire summer scouting and the wife may have some negative comments about that; especially with the price of gas. I have some family there, and it might be a chance to get up and see them though.
If you want your children to follow in your footsteps, be careful where you walk.
Beware the man that only owns one gun; he probably knows how to use it.
I just hope my ship comes in before my dock rots.

Used to hunt deer and black bear around Speculator, NY. Those woods were sure dense.
