C&R and the CMP
If I submit my C&R to the CMP, is that enough to purchase a Garand from them?

That and you must join a certified club. Garand Collectors Association is great and you can sign up for it at the CMP.

My Illinois State Rifle Association filled in that niche nicely.

You must read and comply with all CMP requirements, some of which your C&R will meet. It really is simple, but you must have your application Notarized every three years. Much simpler than the old DCM days. There is now a page 4 in the application packet which has all the instructions and must be submitted as part of the application. It is available on the CMP website.
CMP is a great resource for surplus American military longarms. |
